Questions?

For an event, ticket, membership, or subscriber-held record, contact the group that operates the subscriber site first.

support@gatherhqs.com

1. Who may leave a review

A review link is available only for a named participant recorded as checked in after the event ends. Eligibility is rechecked when the link is used. A participant may leave one review for that event participation and may edit or remove it through the private capability provided.

2. Describe a genuine experience

Reviews should be honest, relevant, and based on the reviewer’s own event experience. Address useful subjects such as organization, communication, venue, instruction, accessibility, value, or the experience delivered. Distinguish fact from opinion and avoid claims you cannot reasonably support.

Do not submit a review for payment, a required benefit, retaliation, manipulation, or on behalf of someone who did not attend. Disclose a material personal, family, employment, ownership, or financial connection to the subscriber when it could affect how readers evaluate the review.

3. Prohibited review content

A review or subscriber response may not contain:

  • credible threats, targeted harassment, discriminatory abuse, stalking, sexual exploitation, or instructions intended to cause harm;
  • private contact details, account credentials, payment information, health information, a minor’s identifying details, or another person’s confidential information;
  • impersonation, fabricated attendance, coordinated rating manipulation, spam, advertising, or unrelated disputes;
  • defamatory factual claims, illegal content, malware, or material that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights; or
  • attempts to extort a refund, benefit, or favorable treatment through a threatened rating.

4. Subscriber responses

A subscriber may post one public response to a review. The response must follow the same standards and must not reveal private attendee information, retaliate, threaten, or pressure the reviewer. A subscriber may report a review for platform evaluation but cannot hide it merely because the rating is negative or critical.

5. Moderation

Reported reviews remain visible unless a platform administrator determines that restriction is warranted. Platform administrators must record a reason when hiding or restoring review content. Moderation may consider the full context, available records, severity, legal risk, privacy, safety, manipulation, and these guidelines.

Gather HQs does not verify every factual statement or promise that every user will agree with a moderation decision. We may restrict content, request clarification, preserve evidence, or refer a safety, fraud, or legal concern to an appropriate provider or authority when permitted or required.

6. Editing, removal, records, and appeals

A reviewer can edit or remove public review content through the valid private review link. Public removal may not erase limited moderation, eligibility, security, or audit history needed to operate the Service, prevent abuse, or comply with law.

A reviewer or subscriber may request reconsideration by contacting support with the subscriber site, event, review, decision, and reason for the appeal. Do not send private participant information unless support specifically requests it through an appropriate channel.
